1 | The article presents the rationale, the development and results of testing of educational material on the topic “Training of highly qualified athletes” for academic disciplines in power sports, pedagogical physical culture and sports improvement taught at universities and at the faculties of physical culture and sports. The rationale for the content of the educational topic is based on scientific and methodological approaches to the planning of training loads in sports, theories and methods of sports training. The methodology of training highly qualified athletes according to the “pyramid” system is used in many sports, such as weightlifting, sambo, swimming, etc., but this system has not been used in kettlebell lifting, therefore it requires its own justification. From all of the above, the study of the training methodology for qualified high-skilled kettlebell lifters at the pre-competition stage is quite relevant. A program has been developed for training qualified guards on the preset stage according to the Pyramid system. The percentage ratio of the volume of general physical and special physical training and tonnage of the main and auxiliary exercises on the preset stage is determined. The effectiveness of the developed program for the preparation of qualified guards on the preset stage on the Pyramid system was experimentally proved. The educational material, theoretically substantiated, developed and tested in the training process of kettlebell lifters, is introduced into the content of the educational topic “Training of highly qualified athletes” of disciplines taught at the faculties of physical culture and sports. 2 | The article deals with the issue of the formation of knowledge and skills for the prevention of injuries of students in the classroom for disciplines in sports of a power orientation taught at the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of Tomsk State Pedagogical University. The developed version of teaching students of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports the method of preventing injuries based on exercises of the static and static-dynamic nature of the work of the muscles is presented. This technique is based on scientific and methodological principles and approaches to the process of training and prevention of injuries of the musculoskeletal system during kettlebell lifting. The developed methodology for teaching students the prevention of injuries of the musculoskeletal system includes the following components: theoretical topics, topics of practical training on injury prevention, means of influencing muscle groups, exposure doses, work intensity and rest intervals between sets. During the implementation of the developed methodology, general didactic teaching methods were used, such as: storytelling, explanation, conversation, discussion. Methods of direct and indirect visualization were used. As for practical methods, such methods were used as: methods of strictly regulated exercise (uniform, variable, interval, repeated, circuit training method); game method; competitive method. The results of the impact of the developed methodology before and after the experiment are presented. The effectiveness of the developed methodology for teaching students, aimed at the formation of knowledge and skills in the prevention of injuries of the musculoskeletal system during kettlebell lifting, has been experimentally proven. 3 | The article deals with the issue of the formation of knowledge and skills for preparing students at the training sessions of the course of sports improvement “Kettlebell lifting”, taught at the Institute of Physical Culture and Sports of the Tomsk State Pedagogical University. A modern version of teaching theoretical and physical training methods to students of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports using CrossFit elements is presented. CrossFit is a type of physical activity that consists of a high-intensity strength training program. The program is made up of exercises from other sports, such as: kettlebell lifting, weightlifting, powerlifting, gymnastics, athletics and others. This technique is based on scientific and methodological principles and approaches to the process of training and development of strength endurance in kettlebell lifting. The developed methodology consists of the following components: theoretical topics, practical training topics for the development of physical qualities, means of influencing muscle groups, a training program with crossfit elements, exposure doses, work intensity and rest intervals between sets. A wide range of teaching methods are used, both general pedagogical and specific, such as: explanation, conversation, story, discussion, methods of strictly regulated exercises (repeated, variable, uniform, interval, circuit training method); competitive and game methods. The results of the impact of the developed methodology before and after the experiment are presented. The effectiveness of the developed method of teaching students, aimed at the formation of knowledge and skills for the development of physical qualities during kettlebell lifting, has been experimentally proven.
