1 | А creative behavior of a person in the natural conditions of life is considered and analyzed. The advantages of studying the creative manifestations of subjects (children of primary school age) in a free situation typical for the natural real creative process are substantiated. The parameters of free situation, singled out and used in the experimental study, and the factors that stimulate the creative manifestations of children, such as the representation of the example of creative behavior of a significant adult, emotional and creative contact of the adult with children, etc., allowed us to establish that the types of creative reactions of children to the example of creative behavior of an adult can be either immediate or delayed, with the delayed manifestations of creative abilities being the predominant ones. This allowed us to identify the phenomenon of delayed creative manifestations, which is associated with the incubation period both in relation to the creative process (during the realization of the creative intention – the fruition and maturation of the creative idea), and with respect to the formation of creative abilities resulting from the accumulation of new personal experience. This experience is connected, in our opinion, with the opportunity for subjects (children) to manifest creative behavior, encouraged by the teacher (significant adult) who demonstrated himself the example of creativity to schoolkids. 2 | The article analyzes the concept of “self-development” and the personality abilities associated with it from a psychological point of view. The purpose of the research is to consider the concept of “self-development”, as well as “the ability for self-development”, “the highest ability for self-development” and identify the difference between these abilities. In the course of the analysis the concept of self-development is described, its various characteristics and parameters are revealed. The article presents definitions of the ability for self-development, covering its different aspects, such as systemic, integrative, subjective, activity-oriented, life-oriented, transformative, motivational-value, evaluative-orientational, self-regulatory, reflexive-regulatory, cognitive. It is shown that there is no single concept of self-development. Some concepts emphasize the role of cognitive factors, while others give priority to self-regulatory skills; subject position; transformation of the inner world; specific activity for self-change, aimed at solving life problems. It is concluded that the variety of factors contributing to self-development, the identification of many its aspects and components, various forms of manifestation seems to be logical, since it reflects the complexity and multidimensionality of this psychological phenomenon. A special place in the article is occupied by the description of subjectiveness, which is interpreted by the author as one of the key factors determining self-development. The important role of the position of the subject and subjectiveness in self-development and its importance for the manifestation of the highest ability for self-development, when a person acts as a subject of activity, as a subject of development, and as a subject of life, is emphasized. The specificity of the highest ability for self-development is noted, associated with its belonging to the mental component of spiritual abilities. The difference between the ordinary ability for self-development and the higher ability for self-development is shown, which is due to the fact that the highest ability for self-development is focused on absolute values and high spiritual and moral ideals. 3 | In this article the value and moral sphere of a personality is examined. The results of the study of values in domestic and foreign researches are discussed. The heterogeneity and inconsistency of these results is shown, that determines the relevance of continuing the researches on the value-moral sphere. A new perspective of its study is proposed, that is related to the moral component of spiritual capacities, which includes such a moral and value subcomponent as spiritual and moral qualities. These qualities reflect an orientation towards the highest universal human values. The purpose of the study was to examine the relationship of the spiritual and moral qualities of a person with positive (virtues-values) personality traits, as well as with negative (non-spiritual) personality traits. The study involved 79 people: 60 – female; 19 – male; students (full-time and part-time) from Ufa, Moscow. Age 18–30 years old. Average age – 20,97 ± 2,84. The following methods were used: Spiritual Personality Inventory by A. Hussain and M. Anas (adapted by G.V. Ozhiganova, 2019); Values in Action Inventory of Strengths (VIA-IS) by K. Peterson and M. Seligman (adapted by S. A. Bashkatov, 2013) – a short version; the Dirty dozen Questionnaire by P. K. Jonason and G. D. Webster (adapted by T. V. Kornilova et al., 2015). As a result of the study of the moral and value subcomponent of spiritual capacities, a significant positive relationship between the spiritual and moral qualities of a person and positive qualities related to classical virtues (values): “Justice”, “Courage”, “Temperance”, “Wisdom” was established. There were found significant negative correlations of spiritual and moral qualities and such negative traits (Dark Triad) as Psychopathy and Machiavellianism, and the absence of correlations with Narcissism.
